St. Anne Church

The small St. Anne Church is located at the entrance of Sirmione Castle, it is of the fifteenth century and it was used by the soldiers of the castle, there are some frescoes inside.

St. Anne Church is located in Piazza Castello and flanks the drawbridge entrance to the town, it is a small church of the fifteenth century built for the garrison of the castle; consists of a presbytery and a small space covered by a barrel vault; inside there are some frescoes of the sixteenth century and stuccos of the seventeenth century. A part of the fourteenth century fresco above the altar. The St. Anne Church is about seven hundred meters from our hotel in Sirmione.
